Assisted living is for seniors who could be frail but do not need 24-hour medical nursing care. However, they sometimes need help with activities such as:

• Housekeeping

• Meals

• Dressing

• Medication reminders & monitoring

Seniors can choose between apartment-style living or single-family residential homes within these communities. Single-family residential homes are private homes modified to meet state inspection requirements. Residents receive more one-on-one attention because they are typically limited to six seniors in the home.
